In addition to make a resemblence of zen like ambience in the urban living, DVAL Studio introduces a contextual approach of the client’s interest on Japanese architecture in the modern era. Material used in FS House is something which the designer wants to express something unique, which uncommonly used in other buildings.
Dramatic Experience
With the mix of artificial stone, concrete, and dark-wood, the designer creates a warmth and texture to complement the monochromatic palette, to achieve a dramatic experience with the conjunction of warm indirect lighting. The living area is interconnected between each separate functional area, enabling the occupants to interact seamlessly while moving into every zone.
Personalized Space
To facilitate the client’s lifestyle, the designer faciliates an area which serves as a “Man Cave”. The place where the client could host a social gathering or just for expressing the client’s unique hobby. It is essential to imbue together every streamlined idea of the client in a thoughtful overall design.
Refining Every Corner
The mostly dark color and details where also accentuated by employing similar material tones in created form gain depth in each corner. People could observe and feel the evolving narrative within the house, where also concealed amneity creates a sanctuary feeling throughout.
Storage - To store, and age.
The private walk-in closet is also well considered to provide limitless possibility of homeowners’ journey through age. This area emphasizes large storage, concealed door passage to bathroom, and dressing area to start a day.
